鑑賞記録
“Wild Ensemble” was painted by Yusuke Asai in 2019.
In 2021, Asai and current students added additional work to the work, which became “Wild Large Ensemble.”
Then, shortly before the old school building where the work is located was demolished, the work was expanded to cover the entire school building, jumping out of the room where “Wild Ensemble” was exhibited, in time for the wall art appreciation event on June 25th and 26th, 2022.
The work was viewed on June 25th, 2022, when the old and new school buildings stand side by side, and the final part of the work that had grown over the course of four years was shared.
It was a sunny day, and the sunlight shining through the windows of the school building where the work was painted was dazzling. On the north-facing window overlooking Mount Bandai, there were written things that Asai wanted the children and viewers who saw the work to think about.
After the exhibition ends, some of the work will be stored, but most of it will be returned to the ground along with the school building.
