Review

Fujifilm 200 is an ISO 200 color negative film supplied outside of Japan.
It is not supplied to the Japanese market, but can be purchased from Amazon or Rakuten via an importer.
Looking at Fujifilm’s overseas pages such as Fujifilm USA, it seems that Fujifilm 200 is supplied to some areas overseas.

When scanned with default settings, the color of Fujifilm 200 is dull and plain.
When post-processing digitally, there is a reasonable amount of room for adjustment as long as the exposure is correct, so it should not be a problem unless the exposure is completely blown out.

As for resolution and graininess, the following are 1:1 images of Fujicolor 100 and Fujifilm 200 taken during the day, scanned with DiMAGE SCAN PRO, and there is no significant difference in graininess or resolution. Depending on the exposure and other conditions, Fujicolor 100 may have more noticeable graininess.

After shooting a few rolls, I feel that the only difference between the two films is the name.

Kodak in the US sells consumer films at ISO200 & ISO400. ISO 200 & 400 are probably the shooting sensitivities that American users are familiar with. Fujifilm would probably rather sell ISO 200, which is more familiar to Americans, than ISO 100 film, so I suspect that they are offering films with a negative film range of around ISO150, with names of 100 for Japan and 200 for overseas.

Fujifilm USA provides detailed information on Fujifilm 200 in PDF format, but Fujifilm Japan does not have similar information, so I was unable to compare the specifications. Fujicolor 100 is not available overseas, so there is no information.

The example in the gallery uses a lens that has been modified from a CONTAX G-mount Biogon 28m to an M-mount. Since it is a lens from the film era, it works very well with film.

The following cropped images were taken under different shooting conditions and with different lenses, and have been compressed (Scan > JPEG > Webp), so they are not an exact comparison. Please use them as a reference only.

As of 2024, the price of imported products in Japan is 6,000 yen for a three-pack, and about 3,000 yen for a single bottle. A three-pack on Amazon USA is about $25, so considering the cost of importing, it seems that the profit margin for importers is not that large.
