Review of Yusuke Asai and Mugi Furukawa’s live performance at NADiff a/p/a/r/t in Ebisu, Tokyo in 2019.

Yusuke Asai and Baku Furukawa, two artists of the same age, will hold a one-night-only special event.
Furukawa-san’s guitar and clear vocals echoed in the space, and Asai-san stretched masking tapes in every direction. He pasted drawings from Georgia and Istanbul onto the masking tape, creating an impromptu exhibition space. His creations spread outside of the room, and he knows no bounds. The final act was a reconstruction of the work created at the “Naoshi Ishida (painter/video artist) × Yusuke Asai” event on January 19, when he drew a giant human figure on the wall using flour.
It was a luxurious space and time for one day only.
